How it works for seniors

Staying strong keeps you steady, independent, and confident on your feet. Silver Strength makes qualified coaching approachable — here's the whole path.

  1. Step 1

    Sign up below

Tell us a little about yourself and the best way to reach you. It takes a minute, and there's nothing to pay.

  2. Step 2

We match you with a trainer

We pair you with a qualified volunteer trainer and introduce you so you can agree on a time and place that suit you.

  3. Step 3

    Train with structure

Work through structured strength, balance, and mobility sessions built around what you can do today — and progress from there.

On the ground

Real sessions, real progress — in the heart of the community.

Silver Strength runs structured small-group coaching at Carbyne Lab in Toa Payoh — close to home and easy to reach — led by certified IFPA trainers who volunteer their time.

For trainers

Volunteer as a trainer

Give a few hours, build real coaching experience with older adults, and help your community stay strong. There is one firm requirement.

Required

IFPA Certified Personal Fitness Trainer

Every Silver Strength trainer holds the IFPA Certified Personal Fitness Trainer certification. It's the one credential we ask for.

About the certification
Good to have

Senior Fitness Specialist

The Senior Fitness Specialist add-on sharpens your coaching for older adults. It's a strong plus, but it is not compulsory to volunteer.
